Notice | If your account has had no activity in the last year and you have not contacted the credit union, your account becomes dormant. After three years of dormancy, your account becomes abandoned, and the funds in the account will be sent to the State Comptroller by July 1, 2022.
Debit and Credit Card Information | 5Point mails a new card the same month your current card expires. For example, if your card expires 07/22, a new card will arrive in July. If you have questions about your cards, please give us a call or chat with us.
Holiday Closing | We will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observation of Independence Day.

Too busy to stop by your local 5Point to deposit a check? No problem.

You can make check deposits with your mobile device. All you need is the 5Point app. Please review this disclosure, and call us at 1.800.825.8829 with questions concerning this app. 

Once you've registered for mobile deposit, the approval process may take 1-2 business days.

How to deposit checks with your mobile device:  

  1.   Log in to the 5Point app.
  2.   Choose the Check Deposit button.
  3.   Enter the required information (account to deposit funds in and amount of check).
  4.  Select the camera button, and tap the screen to capture an image of the front and back of your check.
  5.  The following must be written on the back of your check:
  • Your signature
  • "For Mobile Deposit Only"
  • "5Point Credit Union"
  • The account number in which you wish to deposit the check

Our app will notify you if the transaction was submitted.

You can later view your account balance and history to determine if your funds were deposited into your account.  If your check was held for review for any reason, you will receive a notification by email once it has been reviewed.


Remote Deposit Capture has a daily limit of $5,000 and rolling 30-day limit of $15,000.
