Here at 5Point Credit Union, you make us the organization we are today. Whether you’re one of our great members or one of the many wonderful people who make up the areas we serve, we’re grateful to be part of your community. That’s why, to thank you for 89 years and counting, you may see our team members out and about performing 5Point’s Random Acts of Kindness.
These are tokens of our appreciation meant to brighten your day. You don’t have to be a 5Point member to take part in the celebration – we’re just happy to have you in the community! So, if you see one of our #5PointKindness t-shirts around town, stop and say hi. We’re always thrilled to share a conversation, a smile and a little bit of kindness with the neighborhoods where we live and work.
2024 Kindness Projects
January - In honor of National Pizza Week, we gave out gift cards to local pizza places.
February - 5Point employees volunteered packing senior citizen boxes at the Southeast Texas Food Bank and donated non-perishable items to the Montgomery County Food Bank.
March - 5Point employees handed out local grocery store gift cards to random shoppers to help cover their bill.
April- In honor of National Pet Day, 5Point employees donated items to local animal shelters.
May- In honor of National BBQ Month, 5Point employees handed out gift cards to customers at local barbecue joints.
June- We fueled up #5PointKindness by handing out gas gift cards to our valued members at our branches. Making a difference and spreading smiles, one tank at a time!
July- We brought smiles and sweet treats to our community this month with our #5PointKindness project by handing out gift cards to local snow cone shops!
