Emergency Cash Disbursement (ECD)

This service provides emergency cash disbursements, usually within hours after approval, to Visa cardholders in need of cash (e.g., cardholders whose Visa cards have been lost, damaged or stolen) and traveling domestically or internationally.

How This Card Benefit Program Works

ECD is easily accessible by phone to Visa cardholders calling from anywhere in the world, any time of the day. When contacted by a cardholder, Visa Global Customer Assistance Services (GCAS) associates will offer ECD to bridge spending, when the cardholder is experiencing card acceptance difficulties or simply needs cash in hand.
