Abandoned Accounts | If your account has had no activity in the last year and you have not contacted the credit union, your account becomes dormant. We're celebrating our anniversary in a big way–across all nine of our branch locations! Hidden throughout each place we call home are special stars just waiting to be found. If you discover one, you'll win a prize. It's our way of celebrating the communities we serve and the members who make it all possible.

Here's How it Works:

Think you can find the star? From July 6 through July 9, we'll release daily clues leading to the hidden stars on social media at 11:00 AM CST. Follow the clues and start searching! If you're lucky enough to find a star, bring it to the participating branch during normal business hours to claim your prize. Bonus clues (if needed) will be posted the following day at 9:00 AM CST.

Let us see your star power! Snap a photo while you're hunting–or when you find the star–and post it on social media. Don't forget to tag us so we can share in the fun.

Rules

The 5Point Credit Union Star Search ("Promotion") is a limited-time, in-person promotional event hosted at each participating 5Point Credit Union branch. Each weekday during the promotional period, participating branches will host one (1) prize package.
  1. Promotional Period
    • The Promotion will run from July 6 through July 9.
    • The participating branches will be featured each weekday during normal business hours.
    • 5Point Credit Union reserves the right to modify or cancel the Promotion if necessary.
  2. Eligibility
    • Open to individuals 18 years of age or older to claim the prize.
    • No purchase necessary.
    • Membership is not required to participate.
    • Must be physically present at the designated branch to participate.
    • 5Point Credit Union employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
    • Limit one (1) prize per family/household.
  3. Prizes
    • The prize is valued at approximately $200.
    • Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  4. Winner Verification & Publicity
    • The found star may be brought into the participating branch on any day during business hours. Stars brought in after 5 PM on Friday, July 10, are not redeemable.
    • To claim a prize, the winner must complete and sign a Media Release Form.
    • Winners may be invited to participate in a promotional photograph at the branch location. Participation in a photograph is encouraged but not required.
    • If stars are found after business hours, please reach out via direct message.
  5. Conduct & Fairness
    • Participants must behave respectfully and follow all branch policies.
    • Stars will be hidden in public spaces; no climbing, digging, or trespassing required.
    • Disruptive behavior will result in disqualification.
    • Staff decisions regarding winner verification are final.
    • Unclaimed stars will be picked up at 5 PM on Friday, July 10.
Participating branches will be featured each weekday. Each branch will have one (1) prize, and only one (1) prize will be awarded per branch per day.

Participants must visit the designated branch, present the found star, and verbally request the prize from a staff member to win. Limit one (1) prize per family/household. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. 5Point Credit Union employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. By accepting a prize, winners agree to sign a media release form and allow 5Point Credit Union to use their first name, last initial, and photo (if taken) for promotional purposes. Promotion runs July 6-9 during normal business hours at participating 5Point Credit Union branches. 5Point Credit Union reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time.
